Care Giving

About This Skill

Compassion in Action, Care That Changes Lives! This programme prepares students to provide safe, respectful and professional care for children, older adults, people living with disabilities and individuals recovering from illness. Trainees develop the knowledge and practical skills required to support clients with dignity while promoting their health, comfort and independence. Students participate in practical sessions covering personal hygiene, bed making, patient mobility, feeding assistance, vital signs monitoring, medication awareness, first aid, infection prevention and effective communication with clients and healthcare professionals. They also learn ethical conduct, confidentiality and emotional support techniques. Upon completion, participants will be equipped to provide quality home-based and institutional care. The programme opens opportunities in hospitals, care homes, rehabilitation centres, private homes and community health services while laying a strong foundation for further healthcare training.
